2008 Events
• Phippen Museum, Prescott, Arizona awarded Shannon with the People's Choice distinction for her acrylic painting "Cholo" in their inaugural Wild Horses Exhibition, November 2008. Shannon's artwork will also be featured in Phippen's promotion for their 2009 Exhibition.
• The prestigious Mountain Oyster Club in Tucson selected two of Shannon's graphite originals for their 39th annual Western Art Show & Sale November 2008.
• Original acrylic painting "Bits of Knowledge" was purchased by the Hearst Ranch in central California for their private collection.
