This painting stems from the hallowed grounds of the State Studs in Poland. I travelled to Janow Podlaski in 2011 & 2014 gathering reference material for a series of paintings on the Arabian breed. Polish National Champion, Emmona is the face behind this thought provoking painting. Emmona moved me to the point of tears and I simply could not ignore her beauty and allure. ‘Klasa’ means ‘Class’ in Polish.
