This is the largest painting I have completed to date, and the one that speaks to my heart the most. I saw Piaff in Poland in 2011 and something inside me changed. Piaff remains the highest scoring stallion in Polish history and is the epitome of balance and conformation. I was taken to his private stable at Janow Podlaski and got to meet him up close and personal. His gentle soul, liquid eyes and enigmatic spirit will stay with me forever.
